Selling an Amiga 1200
« on: July 08, 2006, 07:32:30 PM »
Hi, I'm looking to sell an Amiga 1200 in Norway, but I don't want the hassle of opening an ebay or similar account.

So I wondered if you know of any dedicated Amiga sites for Norway (or if this is a good place) where I could try to pitch the Amiga?

I'm not trying to raise big bucks, so I'm really just interested in selling within Norway, so the postage costs won't get too steep.

For the record, the A1200 has got a memory expansion (unsure if it is 2 or 4MB), an internal HD (of unknown size) and an external HD (also of unknown size). This may be a very imprecise record, but it's my brother's Amiga, and I've not gotten the facts out of him (yet).

Let me know if you've got any tips or any interest!

Thanks, I'm checking it out now.

I'm in Trondheim, but the Amiga is in Stord.

I live in trondheim and would not mind a desktop a1200, but i am sadly totally out of cash now due to vacation plans.

PM me in the unlikely event of it not being sold in a month or two.

I'm also living in Norway, close to Fredrikstad. What is the asking price for it? Might be interrested.
Currently owning: A couple of Windoze pc´s, A 24" Imac, 3 A500, 1 A1200 with A Blizzard 1230 IV, CF-Hd ++ and a C64.   8-)

As yet I've not got complete control on the specs, I haven't really considered a price yet. I'll find out more when I go for a trip to my parents next week. There may be some sort of Blizzard processor upgrade as well if I remember correctly. And several original games.

I'll post more about it when I get back there on Wed or Thursday!

Talked to my brother now, and here's the package as far as we can remember ( a bit more impressive than what I thought it was):

68060 processor with FPU (We think it's from Blizzard)
16MB extra memory
Internal HD (approx 250 MB)
Squirrel SCSI interface
External HD (approx 1GB, but a little dodgy)
External CD-rom drive (4x speed)
External disk drive
14" monitor (better than the regular scart monitors, but we can't remember the model)

Has been used on internet (web, email)

Original Final Writer and Ibrowse applications.

10-15 Original games including Worlds of legends, Skidmarks, Coala, Eye of the beholder 2, Ishar 3, Heimdall 2, Frontier, Mortal Kombat 1 & 2, Sensible Soccer(?)

As I said, I'll be able to look more closely at it on Wd/Thu and even get some pictures.

We were thinking about a price of around 1500 NOK plus postage, but this is negotiable of course.
