FPU speed vs CPU
« on: June 18, 2006, 07:30:22 PM »
Hi again,
when adding a FPU to Blizzard1230 or A1200 memory expansion, does the speed in mhz-s matter(14/33/50 etc)?
And whats the difference between PGA and PLCC?
Thanks.

The speed is determined by the crystal on the board, the FPU can be rated higher but not much lower.

PGA and PLCC are different form factors, only one kind will fit on one given turbocard.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
