Deluxe Galaga 2.6 AGA GURU

Last month,I upgrade my A1200 from blizzard030 to blizzard040.
All works fine, but the game "deluxe galaga 2.6 aga" don't works right. When I loose the first game (about level 15-17) and I begin a new game a guru presents from the level 11 to 15. Sometimes the screen full garbage and then guru comes, some other times the screen goes to black and I have only sound etc. I have install the game with whdload and without whdload but the only difference is the whdload version exits to WB without guru but with an error message. I have try 2 differend archives from aminet: the "deluxe galaga A" about 1MB and the "deluxegalaga 2.6c" about 460kb. The final hope is to work the ECS version (I'll check it) but why not the AGA? Any idea?
My config is: A1200 blizzard 040/40mhz 64mb ram,hd 8gb, Combo DVD/CDRW, subway usb, kick 3.1 os 3.9. :madashell:

Do you have the Phase5 68040.library in LIBS:? If not, download the package here.

I have the original os3.9 68040.library to my system.
The manual says that is not need any extra software for 040. For the 060 version MUST install phase5 disks first. Anyway I'll try it today.

Have you tried turning off CPU caches before running? I believe WHDLoad has tooltypes which do that, or you can do it in the early startup screen.

I have try the whdload version but have problem too.
And also the whdload version have BIG slowdown problems if the screen have many sprites.

Finally I have installed the ECS version of game.
It run and play just fine, but I can't understand why the aga version don't work correctly :-?  The aga version have better gfx and colors. :getmad:

(also I have installed the phase5 680040.lib but nothing.)

I've allso 040, about 95% of whdload games doesn't work. Moust of them quits after few seconds, only whdload game that works correctly is swiv.

My 040 is apollo, problem might be because I use remapollo ?

I thing is something wrong with your setup. 95% of games is very big persent if you thing the whdload installs created for support new amigas with big rams and fast CPUs (030,040,060).
The exit after few secs seems to be problem by the use of TCP/IP stacker for internet or ethernet. Have you any?

95% whdload problems of mine are that games quits after I've played them about minit.

Have you ever read the whdload guide?
This guide give you the answer, With little words disable tcp/ip stacker before run any whdload game. ;-)
