Of course it works. I've had no problems at all using Yahoo! Mail using IBrowse 2.3.

I gather from your last posts that you use Aweb as your browser and you downloaded AmiSSL 2.0 and installed it.  The last post in your previous thread suggested installing AmiSSL 1.x because the current version of Aweb doesn't work correctly with AmiSSL 2.0.  Have you tried this yet?  I believe that version 1.x can be downloaded here.

Alternatively you could purchase IBrowse 2.3 which should work with AmiSSL 2.0.

If none of this works, please give more information about the problem you are having.  What error does the browser give you or what happens when the connection attempt is made?  Are you attempting to use yahoo's secure server or the standard server for login? What OS version are you using?  etc.

Another alternative you may wish to consider (if all else fails and you're really only concerned with getting yahoo email to work.) is using a seperate email client like YAM or OS3.5's AmigaMail to access your yahoo mail account instead of loging in via the web.

Cheers
Sidewinder

Not that I've ever seen... Which is probably part of why no one uses AmiSSL...  The Amiga browsers are usually poor enough at handling sites that they don't even get up to the SSL validation.  It's really the main reason why my A4000 is mostly serving as a dust-collector.  :-(

Really? Well, I've been using MiamiSSL for years, and I have never, even once, had any problem using secure sites! Or if I have, its been nothing to do with SSL itself.

I've been using MiamiSSL and IBrowse 2.2 (now 2.3) to access internet banking, webmail, and do internet shopping for years without hassle.

I can't comment on AmiSSL, though. Maybe you should have bought Miami when you still could  ;-)

I'd actually consider not being able to use Yahoo a plus point for the Amiga. Yahoo sucks.

Yahoo mail is alright. I used it a while back, before i had a proper email address, and it had a nice interface, and i didn't get tons of spam, so its a billion times better than hotmail.

It does, and always has, worked on the Amiga.

@gav:

Please try to fix your spelling and punctuation. It's very hard to read.
