Most people here probably want to hand on to theirs, check ebay out, or www.amigakit.com, they sell refurbished and I think they still have unsold stock of A1200s.

i have always looked for new AMIGA systems ready to be bought new but never find that on AmigaKit. as far as i know the only way one can get one is to BID!?

Actually, Amikit has some in stock. I talked to him the other day. They just don't have any US PS's, until the Summertime. :(

I have been seriously considering buying a NOS-A1200 from them. I figure with an '030 and one of Jen's IDE fix, that's the perfect, little emulation/game machine for my living room. I had one, in 2000, but I sold it, stock, to a friend, so I could buy Amithlon, when it first came out. -.-

Personally, I'd like to put an '040 in there, just for the extra speed, but I hear there are heating problems in the desktop and I plan on keeping it that way. An '060 would rock too, but it's just too expensive for what I want to do.

www.amigakit.com also sell new old escom A1200 boards come fully moded but it will cost you around £82 + p+p
and a refurbished 1 is around £36 + p&p

regarding the bliz 040 i have had 1 running in my desktop for a number of years with no problems just leave the trapdoor of and raise the front a couple of mm so that the fan doesnt touch
