AROS development
« on: May 24, 2006, 03:18:52 PM »
People,

I have just set up a 10USD paypal subscription to the AROS development bounty website - Team AROS.  This site was set up a few years ago to encourage development of the excellent AROS.

10USD is a very small sum that i and many others would not notice leaving ones bank account every month, so i was very surprised to see that i have single handedly increase the monthly income of Team AROS by 25%!

So come on guys, put your money where your mouths are and set up a subscription to help the development of this exciting alternative Amiga OS!  For those on a budget as smaller payment can be made - it all helps!

George

I strongly support that but think the increasing of the AROS team is not about the money. I thinks it is about the attention. The attention encourage the team members to work.May be monthly interview with every developer will encorge that developer to work more. New developers will be encouraged to join AROS team too.

I agree that more needs to be done to highten AROS's profile, such as interviews etc.  But theres nothing like a big stack of money to attract peoples attention!!

Yes. And right now I see you're doing your bit to raise AROS's profile by posting about the new subscription scheme on the various websites. :-P

The guys who run the show also need to post more news on sites such as this.

Just to let people know things are still moving along.  :-)
