PPC info on Visual Boy Advance.
« on: April 15, 2003, 12:51:32 PM »
Hi boys! I wrote the Visual Boy Advance author, and asked him about an Amiga port...
Got some nice info back...
I remember that someone here had thoughts on making a port. Don't remember who though.. :/
That one hadn't got any replies from the original author, but he seems intrested in an Amiga port, and seems to reply quit fast on mails now...
Anyway.. here is the info.

Let me know how the port goes. There are some changes I am going to make
that can improve speed in big endian machines if they have assembly
instructions to deal with little endian data.

Do you have an idea how stable the AmigaOS version of SDL is right now?
Best regards,

Yea... hmm... there is an SDL version of VGB too.
That would make it a lot easier to port wouldn't it?
If I remember right, wasn't  it Steffen Heuser who was thinking of a port?...
Steffen are you here?

And, yes, when the DEV archive for WarpSDL appears SDL apps will fly! =)
I spoke to Chaozer, and he said that he is back in biz, let's hope it doesn't take too long!
