Hey nisios, maybe you could try using UAE (do you know about this Amiga emulator?).  I haven't actually tried it for music before, but I believe it's been done.  One thing you should understand about Amiga, is that it's a bit of a cult following.  Decent Amiga hardware is pretty expensive and hard to find (depending to some extent on where you are, exactly).  If possible, I would suggest having a try on someone else's amiga first, or on UAE if you can get a ROM.  What system do you use now?  I don't mean to be too discoraging, it's just that these days Amiga may not give you the best value for money, and you may be used to features and support of your existing system which is not present on miggys.
Good good study, day day up!

You know, I just made a rather strange observation... I really don't use my Amigas for much at all. I tinker with the innards now and then, try to upgrade them a little... But I don't actually use them for anything. Hell the only reason I own them at all is because I liked using them back in the 90's when I worked at a public access TV station... And I don't even own a toaster card.

All I can say is I love em, and I want to see more and more hardware for them. Maybe I'm just nuts!
