I can't get Elite Frontiers working with e-uae

I'm trying to get Elite Frontiers working on e-uae but I get a software failure error when I try to run it. I can't boot from a floppy disk image because it needs to be write enabled. What options do I need to run it off my hard disk?

Well, I'm sure you can set write-enable in the floppy disk settings in uae. Other than that, how does it crash? Does it crash straight away, or is it when you click the mouse. This was happening to me too, I can send you my working configuration file if you like.
