Not very well, obviously. :lol:
What gets me though is, the same problem is occuring under 3.9.
I haven't checked yet but I assume the answer is the same.
So how on earth has the date settings been changed for both OSes?

Do you software on both systems to synchronize your system time with a time server? Could be this software that is faulty, or the time server itself was a bit screwy someday (especially if your router acts as your time server).

I did at one time under 3.9 but may have switched it off.
Seem to remember some problems with one of the programs I tried.
Haven't installed anything like that under 4.0.

to avoid further quantum leap, goto Prefs/Time Remote tab, and set a timeserver :-)

3.9 is also ok without me doing anything.
I assume this something to do with the way Time prefs work and the battery backed up clock.
@Framiga.
Good idea, wouldn't want to forget and go through this again.
Cheers.
