An excellent display of early Commodore computer engineering. Something to use and treasure. It all works and would be a worthy addition to an enthusiast's collection.

Nice setup.  I dreamed of getting an 8050 (or 8250) back in the day for my C64.  1MB of storage, can you imagine!!!

Too bad they couldn't engineer themselves a new management team. I used to have some C64's but for some reason they decided to stop working.  Yeah I've never had a chance to even really use my Commodore 1581 3.5 drive  :cry:

Strange how it looks like the 1101 drive..almost if you squint real hard.

A friend has 2 8050 (and maybe an 8250 or two) for sale.  I still use a C128 daily with a 2Mb REU and 1581s. Remarkable how powerful a system this (still) is.
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+
