More than one SCSI device on MultiEvolution 500?

I have a A500+ with an MultiEvolution 500 SCSI and RAM expansion. The expansion have a internal 3.5" SCSI disk, and a 25 pin connector on the back. It start scanning for devices, when i turn on the amiga, and tries to boot from the first device it finds, instead of scanning the rest of the bus. I have found the manual i german (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?product=evolution), but that didn't get me anywhere (my german skills are just enough to order beer and sausages). How can i connect a second harddrive?

You seem to need SCSIBootSel software to choose the drive that you want to be bootable. 7 drives (0-6 ID) allowed and preferably in ascending order concerning IDs. No idea if some more modern software works.
...My German is good enough for some French Fries and Wienerschnitzel, too :-D

According to the manual you need to boot from the MultiEvolution setup disk and that should prepare everything needed for multiple drives. Sorry, there's no description just how exactly that works.

Proper SCSI termination is required at all times. SCSI is a bus that needs exactly two terminators: one at each end. Expanding with an external disk would probably require you to
- disable controller termination
- enable termination on external unit

I want to hookup ZIP drive at least, for transferring data from PeeCee..
Its really good harddrive card has 8MB RAM capability in two SIMM modules

I've tried that. SCSIBootSel can see both harddrives, but no matter what i select, it still boots from the first one it finds.

A have a 700 mb drive mounted in the controller's box at id 6, with WB 2.0, and the 100 mb drive, that came with the Amiga, when i brought it second hand in external box with id 2 and a trashed WB 1.3, where nothing works. But i would like to transfer the HD installed games from the 100 mb drive, without having to use floppys or transfer everything over the serial port.

From the manual:

7 Special considerations when using multiple hard drives

Software and hardware of your system are prepared for using up to 7 hard drives. Formatting and partitioning must be done with the included installation software.
The second drive must be jumpered to 'unit 1', the third to 'unit 2' and so on. In addition you'll need a 50 pin cable between controller and drive that carries two or more connectors.
Be aware that - according to SCSI rules - terminators should only be present in the last drive on the cable. Please remove terminators from all drives but the last! When only one drive is connected the terminator stays in place.
To accelerate booting, you should install the drives with growing unit numbers, starting with '0'. If you're experiencing problems when using multiple drives, you should try different ordering of the units. Some drives cause unwanted effects to the bus which can be resolved by correct positioning [?]. If you have set up a drive, but currently don't have it connected (because of defect, noise, missing cartridge) your system will wait forever when trying to boot. To get out of this, you can press the 'Help' key and the system will boot with all drives previously found.
To set up additional hard drives:
1. Boot from the included floppy disk. Press the right mouse button, especially when you want to remove one or more drives from the system.
2. When asked 'Welche Unit möchten Sie jetzt installieren?' [Which unit do you want to set up?] choose the one to be installed.
3. Install the drive as described in chapter 5.

Well, i tried that but i wasn't sure if the software would format the drive, so i aborted. But i'll try make a backup of the drive and try again.
