FS: Commodore Amiga 2286 AT Bridgeboard Kit
« on: January 28, 2006, 03:35:00 AM »
I have an original Commodore Amiga 2286 Bridgeboard kit for sale. It comes with the bridgeboard, cables, floppy drive, installation manual and MSDOS 5.0 installations discs and MSDOS 5.0 manual.

I have 3 pictures of the bridgeboard and will link them up here shortly.

I have no idea what kind of price to ask for this unit, so make me a good offer - perhaps suggest a price, even if you're not in the market for one. Feel free to ask any questions here, or email me.

I'm obviously new here (and new to Amiga) but well established on eBay. Feel free to check my eBay feedback. eBay ID is silveradoxd

Thanks,

Louie

That's where I started to look, but really didnt find anything at all. I did get an offer via email for $35, which I think is a reasonable price.

I'd say $35 is quite reasonable.  I doubt many people would pay much for it now days.  They're just not very useful for doing much any more.  Maybe more of a curiosity/nostalgia thing.  Second hand P4's can be bought for around $50 Austalian, and I don't think such a PC card will offer much that a standalone box will.  Anyway, someone might like to play with it.

Just in case: I've got an excellent RAM expansion card (RAMpAT! by Acculogic), that expands any 286/386 (successfully tested with A2286 and A2386SX) to the maximum of 16 MB. Complete with RAM in its original package, manual and setup disks included (3,5" & 5,25"), even configures automatically.

Any offers?

It does probably belong in museum someday.
I actually bought it to try to use Ether bridge software with an ISA-AT NE2000 16bit ethernet card on my A2000. If I could find the 386SX version of an Amiga bridgecard, I would like to buy it as well if it did not cost a fortune.

Is there an Amiga used pricelist somewhere on the web ? :-)
