can you emulate a Amiga on a pc, how do you emulate it also is Workbench 4.0 possible on a pc please help i want the Amiga back

yes you can emulate the clasic amiga on a pc, go to http://www.winuae.net/ or/and http://www.amigaforever.com/ or/and http://amikit.amiga.sk/ and take a look.
WB/OS 4 can't run even on a real amiga so far,you see it's not ready yeat... :roll:

What is happening at Amiga why cant they port workbench to pc hardware  :madashell:

I remember them magazines well my friend i really need the Amiga back Windows cant even multitask correcty the whole pc runs slows why wont they let Amiga take on the PC and win!!!!

The pre release runs just fine on AmigaONE... It might not be finished, but it already has more features than os3.x

I personally think you should sell your pc and get yourself a real Amiga  ;-)

Yeah, why not get a real classic Amiga to play with, part of the Amiga experience is tinkering with the classic hardware - it's so beautifully designed!

I'd pick up a 2nd hand Commodore A1200 from eBay with a hard disk and maybe an '030 accelerator (CPU card). Some extra memory would go down well with that, as would a CD-ROM drive.

What I want to know is: how is the Amiga doing in terms of emulation these days... the last I heard of PC Task it was at v4/5 and PCX was able to emulate Windows '95 albeit sluggishly. We never did quite get the version of Fusion PPC we were looking for so how's PC emulation going for AmigaOne!?

Any version of WINe being ported?

You can't run Wine on a non x86 CPU, as it is not an emulator.
