I have AmiPC-Linkup with box, cable, and software, what is it worth?

If it's like the ones I've seen on Ebay which seem to consist of a parallel port cable, a CD and a floppy disk they go for between ten to fifteen pounds.

Ami-PC Linkup consists of this cable and the freeware PC2AMIGA package from the Aminet so getting the cable and downloading the software is cheaper.

Not quite correct.

Ami2PC kit that wierd science used to sell did indeed use APC2AMIGA but it used a modified and improved version that was never released to the public. It doesnt suffer anywhere near as much with transfer issues that the aminet version does.

No idea what you get on the kits you can buy from ebay these days though...

Bought mine back at alt-WoA in 2000 or was it 01... cant quite remember.

I used to use the Aminet version and it was really tempramental, it would refuse to work for ages for no discernible reason. When it was behaving though it was a great program.
