The current series of Little Britain is absolute wank, nowhere as good as previous series :-(

It's become rather tired now, the first series was kind of fresh, and the second one added a couple of funny new things (bitty :-D), but this third one seems to be a rehash of stuff they've already done.

The only really funny bit on last night's episode was the vomiting dog.

It is funny - however I've seen two episodes, and it seems as if they have ten minutes of good material but make it last half an hour.

Re : Little Britain

I've never got things that re-use the same jokes week in, week out. I never got Whitehouse experience, Fast Show, League of Gentleman for this reason...just too formulaic, too predictable. There's more to comedy than catchphrases!

This is exactly the reason sketch shows suck, its not as good as previous series because they use the same jokes or variations thereof.

:-o

Dear God, what do you talk about in the pub to people you don't already know?

I hope you like football. ;-)

Broken News is ok, but it's just a pale imitation of The Day Today and Brasseye.

What went wrong with the BBC (specifically BBC2) and Channel 4?  There was a time when they produced a wide range of great comedies catering for all tastes.

Dunno, but with everyone now doing a gazillion freeview/digital channels it seems like they're spreading themselves out a bit thin.
Luckily for me I can't get freeview, and Channel 5 seems to only work when they're showing footie matches (I'd rather watch paint dry..except I can't get the Home and Leisure channel  :-D ) .. so I'm stuck with the normal 4 terrestrial channels, it's all just all the same {bleep}e, just with different presenters.
I'd better go before I start ranting.. sheesh, 34 and I can already outdo Victor Meldrew :-o

You gotta be kidding Bloodline, the auditions were about the only good bit, it's all just been downhill since then...then again, everytime I've seen it I just wanna shove Johnny Vaughn's face in a blender.

Mind you, I agree about the morons bit. If they're so desperate to get their faces on TV then they deserve every bit of humiliation coming to them..that is if they are real morons, and not all actors/extras as some rumours are suggesting (have you noticed that the fuzzy haired guy is also in the current blood donation advert too..hmmm)

Nah..you forgot they've got anti-gravity generators in the floor of the spaceship.
I wonder if the overhead lockers are full of tribbles?

No, they weeded out anyone who could name three or more characters from Star Trek... no one form Amiga.org wold have made it through.

I am waiting to see if the real joke is actually on us... still it's only entertainment :-D
