« on: November 03, 2005, 09:23:27 PM »
It's possible to use an amiga 2000 keyboard on an A3000, right? How about a A4000 keyboard?

Has anyone ever taken an A3000 kybrd totally apart and fixed?

2000 and 3000 keyboard use the same plug. 4000 is smaller.

I took apart my 4000 kb.. Was easy.

@cbcvenice:

It feels like I have posted this link to you before, but it never hurts :).

A friends A3000 keyboard was very bad after being stashed away for a very very long time - you needed to push very hard at most of the keys to make anything happen. Some "gymnastics" of the keyboard did help very much in that case - just pushing each key a lot.

If all else fails, buy a lyra adapter and use a standard "PC" keyboard. I'm using one together with a KVM switch and it works mostly flawless.
