@nyteschayde:
If you can get something onto a disk the amiga can read this should work.
1. Put the BootControl exe from
this this archive on a disc.
2. Boot the Amiga with no startup.
3. Insert the disk in df0: and type in "DF0:BootControl INSTALL BOOT MODE=VGA VGAONLY"
This should install this program resident in memory and reboot your machine. The now resident BootControl will now promote all the system-friendly stuff asking for a PAL/NTSC screenmode to a DblNTSC screenmode (with VGAOnly to up the frequency a bit). With system-friendly stuff I ofcourse also apart from WB etc also mean the early boot menu etc.
DblNTSC with VGAOnly gives you a 29.02kHz/59Hz screenmode which works with most VGA monitors except some new ones that seems to dislike the low horizontal frequency (31.5kHz is the normal minimum of PC VGA screenmodes). So if your current monitor doesnt display a picture, try with another one, preferrably as old as you can find as they generally are more tolerant to a bit lower frequencies.
One important note: SetPatch in AOS3.9 with BB2 disables BootControl.
