As my subject line says i miss my amiga it took me months to finaly post it on ebay and sell of the goodies i had with it( A600 with 100meg hdd) anyway i had a friends years ago reverse eng alot of the OS and started coding a fully compatible x86 release and he got in boat loads of trouble somehow/someway any whoo my piont is i would realy like to see Amiga go main stream or at least get back on its feet in some way or another i think going open source would be the way linux did it "no im not a linux fan" nor a "open source fan" just a Amiga fan all the clubs and any contact with amigians here in michigan left me about 8 years ago in my way of thinking Amiga is stuck theres only the hardcore user that are still hangin in there and thats great buttt with x86 and now the new 64 bit proc that are out there the hardware itself realy dont have to servive just the OS we all know what its got but very few have had the chance to experence it first hand , getting some of the young kids that realy love to hackaway at free code (open source) could get things moving again ....(open source in a way could be good for Amiga could still keep a closed door on the AmigaOS itself but release enough code per say in "FreeAmiga" that later the code can be modified and used in a closed source Version.. may sound shady but how else will Amiga servive...

sorry so long winded....
