Please please help! I deleted my startup-sequence

i stupidly deleted my startup-sequence on OS3.9 and now i`m stuck

Please help
A1200HD- Blizzard 1230IV / 64Mb / Kick 3.1 / OS 3.9 / 20GB HD
A4000 040 @33Mhz -Kick 3.1 / 16MB
A2000 Rev4.4 - \'030 @25Mhz / 8MB / Kick 3.1 / ClassicWB
CD32 -     Stock (W/ 2 CD32 Controllers]
A500 Plus - 68000 / 2MB Chip / 2Mb Fast / 2.04/1.3 / A590 / A570
A600HD - 2MB Chip / 8MB Fast / 2GB CF HD / Kick 3.1

Do you have your emergency boot floppy?  If so, boot with it and copy the startup-sequence off of the CD.  Otherwise, if you've installed any boing bag updates there will be backups in S:.

Type 'loadwb' followed by 'endcli' to get into workbench and then write a new startup-sequence.

i was really lucky and found a copy of startup-sequence in S:

Thanks for the help ;)   I must keep a backup

My mistake was for some stupid reason trying the edit startup-sequence using using WORDPAD in windows XP and it must have changed the format .. could that be it ?

PC ends lines with two bytes (CR+LF)instead of normal single LF (Amiga, UNIX..), that may caused your trouble.
Better sorry than worry.

It will have caused his problems =) you cant edit Amiga txt files on Windows without it becoming "corrupt" on AmigaOS.
