OS3.9 wont recognise partitions - HELP!
« on: October 03, 2005, 06:03:34 PM »
Machine is A4000 desktop, 030, 4.3 gig Seagate hard drive with CV64 3D.

I have partitioned the drive with 4 1 gig partitions under WB3.0 and installed OS3.9 onto the system partition. Everything works fine with the system partition. The problem is that the other 3 partitions can not be written to when I boot the machine up from OS3.9, it comes up with "object not of required type". If I try to format the partitions the machine hangs up. If I boot from a WB3.0 floppy, all partitions work as normal.

Anyone know why my partitions don't work under 3.9? I've been at this for 3 weeks now and am getting nowhere.

Thanks

Robert
