Free Website

Is there anyone out there in need of a web site.

I am starting to develop sites again (after some years absence ) and need unsuspecting guinea pigs to work on.

I cannot provide you with web space, although I could at a push.  You will not get a web site address - that would be up to you.

I am simply offering you a web site for you to demo your latest programming efforts.  They can be games or apps or anything else for that matter.  My only criteria is that you are doing something for the Amiga community.

I will give you the site - on CD - and the only thing I ask is that I am credited for it.  Simple.

Anyone interested?

You say you want to develop the game.  How far along are you with development?

Code, Graphics and sounds if necessary.  I need a pet project to demo what I can (or can't) do.

I'm using (mainly) Fireworks, Flash, Dreamwever.  Don't expect too much, but I want to co-ordinate my efforts with someone that I think is worthy.

I've been commisioned to build a Website for a company, based on my work for tan-hausergate.com... I was thinking about moving to Flash but I can't get my head around the weird Macromedia IDE... any tips an pointers would be good which I would be happy to credit you for if I do move to Flash!

I am re-familiarising myself with Flash.  It has changed so much since I last used it.  The only criticism I have of the software is that the properties for an object - "ie - buttons, movies etc" seem to be in multiple places and not in one simple window.

Do percevere.  If you have anything then please ask away - let me know what you are doing at the moment though because I too am still learning.

As for the IDE.  It has taken me the best part of a week to understand the IDE, I am still using how to use buttons and devoting some time to the Actionscript aspect of Flash.

I might post some examples of what I am doing on my web site.  I am doing a complete overhaul of the site atm so it should not be too difficult.

Well, I just want to be able to do in Flash what I can already do in html and javascript :-)

Then once I figure that out, I want to add flashy (excuse the pun) animations and cool effects to the site and make it more fun for the user.

I really can't see how to make the Flash interactive... It's easy enough to load in an animation and an audio and have a single file.... but I want buttons and scrollable panes... I want  a little progress bar so the user can see how long they have to wait!!! Is that too much to ask?!?! ;-)

I have uploaded a couple of simple pages I am developing at the mo!  No attention to detail - just rough outlines (and no other content but the index page) but it demonstrates the direction that I am going.

All done with free royalty free from the web.

I will upload my Flash site tomorrow to give you an example of what I am doing.  I would be happy to e-mail you the SWF for your reference.
