Absolutely no effect here, I'm totally unsqueamish.

I used to be like that, but there are certain medical things I could do without seeing.  Reading about the stuff has never bothered me though :-D

But now, I think I'm getting less squeamish again.

As a wee bairn I'd sometimes watch these various medical/forensic programmes on TV whilst eating. Things like "The body in question" and "Your life in their hands" etc., all of which were reasonably graphic.

I'd remember the folks having pretty adverse reaction to seeing someones innards being poked about when trying to eat something. Not that we dined in front of the TV of course, I mean snacking :-)

I love KFC, but it doesn't agree with me anymore :-(

Last year I had something from there (can't remember what, but it was a smallish meal) and I was quite ill the next morning.

Tis a bugger as they're much much better than McD or BK.

Could have just been a dodgy batch of chicken, or some bastard lobbed a whopping great gorb in your fillet burger. Either way, your bound to feel some unpleasantness the next day. Just remember there are plenty of other ways to gain weight, "...and if your unsure, just rub it on a piece of paper, if the paper turns clear, its your window to weight gain, bye bye everybody!". :-D

@ X-ray

Each specialist is looking for what he's expecting to find ;-). It would be nice to have a GP visit, just to take account of other causes of pain in the differential diagnosis.
This one especially could have started from a site distant to what you were probing: an acute heart ischemia can cause referred pain to the 4th & 5th fingers.

I thought of that my mate, but I had no left shoulder pain and my symptoms were chronic, not acute. Also at the time I was playing squash four times a week and I had none of the exertion/shortness of breath problems that I would expect with a cardiopulmonary condition. Believe me, I checked a lot of things before I got the electric needle...

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 86% Expert!

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 29% on Beginner

You scored higher than 50% on Intermediate

You scored higher than 76% on Advanced
