Does anyone know if Gunne Steen has got his A1XEs today as promised by Alan Redhouse? It's not mentioned yet at the GGSDatas' newspage..

Please let me know:-) (Please be 100% SERIOUS..I don't want this topic to be bulled...)

And than why did you start YAUT*, instead of just calling GGSData ?

(*Yet Another Useless Thread)
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Last weekend they were stuck in Germany, so by now they must have arrived. Almost a week has gone by and that is a long time for shipping something.

I'm disappointed to the fact that Gunne was supposed to have them at least by today, but no. But the Pegasos/MorphOS-system is available at Gunnes' store..

I don't know what to say to all this wait. It has become so incredible "silly"...

It may hopefully become much better when the AmigaOne hit the high streets..

I try hard to keep the mood but it's really hard sometimes..

Hi Helgis75

Hopefully, you might get your board during next week.

But, and this is friendly meant... if you will be one of the lucky, all can not get boards in this first sending, please consider you might got problem to get Linux up and running right off, maybe not, but when you have it up, I think you will be happy.

Take care !

Deliveries from the board manufacturers are being slowed down by all the extra security and customs checks, so they are unable to say when individual orders will be filled.
Boards are on their way now (by air) and should be sent out in the next couple of weeks.

Look, relax. Hopping up and down doesn't get you anywhere. Your board is one of the 20-25 boards in the shipment somewhere between Cologne and Gothenburg right now, but it has to go via Gothenburg then Norwegian customs and Datakompaniet to reach you. All in all _quite_ possible you'll get it before easter kicks in, but surely one day to and fro doesn't matter that much, right?

When you get your board, email me at "olegil at samfundet.no" if you need any help setting it up, ok? I'll be at work until the 16th. Been working on getting Opera and MPlayer to play nicely with Debian, since there's no official powerpc debian packages for those programs. But right now I'm busy downloading games for my A1200 from back to the roots :-)

Then it's time for GeekGadgets, of course  :-D

Edit:
Just noticed Gunne has posted that Helgis might not get a board from first shipment either. Sorry for not paying attention :-)

Shpiied by air eh? Is that so they can fly over the security checks and speed up transport?  :-D
