Since no one has made any mention of this, I thought I would
go ahead and post it for those interested.  I strongly believe
his innovations in electronic music really paved the way for
how we use electronics and computers to produce and manipulate
music.

R.I.P. :-(

I beleive that Moog Prodigy was the name of the synthesizer that inspired Liam Howlett to name his band The Prodigy.

I believe the public memorial was today in Asheville.  I wonder
if they featured any "special" music for the service?

Probably... though it should be noted that the trademark Prodigy sound comes from three Roland W-30's
Oh, and I happen to have a W-30... :-D
