I bought mine locally at a small, used computer parts/electronics store. The only adapters I have found are toooo expensive new, but here is a link to show you what to look for;

I paid $35.00 for a slightly older version of this.
There are others out there too, it just a lot of looking....

Siamese is a mystery like the Draco.

The Draco was a true Amiga clone that could very well have become a great alternative to a normal Amiga. But it become a nische product only for video producers.

The Siamese is actually really cool when you read about it. Makes you wonder why it didnt evolve and become better known and widespread.

Besides the RTG, which I haven't used enough to notice majore problems, it's perfectly stable.  I've installed OS3.5 using it on my A1200 before I had a CD-ROM.  For me, it's been much more reliable than Samba.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

I've been using Siamese v2.5 for years.  I originally used it to retarget the graphics on my Amiga 1200 to my (then) Pentium 1 Win95 desktop, using the PC as a graphics card to display a nice 1024x768 workbench on the PC monitor.

I still use it now with my A3000 to share drives with my P4 WinXP machine and to access the PC drives.  As my A3000 doesn't have it's own CD ROM drive, I installed OS3.5 by inserting the CD in my PC and accessing it through Siamese just as if it was connected to the Amiga.

It also has a few nifty features like allowing you to share one mouse and keyboard between the 2 machines and using the printer connected to the PC to print from the Amiga.

I've only used it over a serial link, but if your Amiga has a ethernet port then it should really fly.

Never used the old hardware Siamese, but it really is good software and a real shame that it was never developed beyond v2.5.
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.

You will always find people who can't get something to work, and blame the problems on the product. That's not always the case however. I've used Siamese 2.0 with the switcher card  for years with no serious problems. I still use it actually, I have one unit I will not sell.
