Actually there isn't much difference in the MKIII and the MKIV. The MK4 can have more memory and can have more memory added on it's SCSI controller. But seeing you have the full MKIII (50Mhz instead of 40MHZ EC) you won't notice much speed difference.
Also, I have not yet found a 128MB SIMM which fit's the MKIV without having to use rubberbands, far from ideal.

If you want the SCSI controller then yes, a IV is better available then the MKIII scsi...

But seeing that the bag was labeled MK4 could mean it was a genuine mistake. Altough the fact the rev label is scratched out worries me a little....

Then maybe you should consider accepting Ryu's (generous!) offer... Then it will only cost you a 68882 instead of a whole Blizzard IV...

edit: and i already have MKII. itsa crazy situation, i dont like amibench, i will never buy somethink there.
and all of you was warned!

Well, that is your choice I believe, but I haven't had any bad experiences on Amibench myself; only one. Someone claimed to have two brand new CD32 controllers, and when they showed up they were certainly not brandnew. He was using a tiscali.co.uk email adress as well, so there are big chances that you have been dealt with the same person as I have.

Anyway, just know which persons you can trust, and who you can't. If an offer is to good to be true, then in 99% of the cases it is. Another reason for the high prices I charge, compared to other people...

@Chain

My offer is as I have already stated, my MkIV Blizz 030 without FPU, for your MkIII with FPU and you cover the shipping cost both ways.

Seeing as 2 people already here say its a generous offer then I tend to agree with them.

Im not urgently needing an FPU so I dont really mind if you dont take me up on my offer, it'll just mean I wont need to disconnect my webserver A1200, dismantle it, package up the mkIV and post it off to you... So infact it'll save me a headache.

Balls in your court

Oh and im sure anyone here will say I am trustworthy.

Edit: oh I wont be needing the ram either, I'll just put my 32mb stick on it.

I might have a 64MB stick for sale if you'd be intersted in that for say £10 with the mkIV.

Thats all im doing, imo im being generous as is.
Yours
Darren aka Ryu
