You know, after seeing that I'm reminded of Stephen King's The Running Man story.
*spoiler alert* (highlight to read it - just incase there's someone who is reading it now - highly unlikely though)
At the end Richards crashes a plane into the tower that the game show's office is based in.
Oh wait, that was in the book not the film and not in music either... that's why it hasn't been used as a scapegoat :-P
