I agree with Darth-X, you need to check out the other side and see what MorphOS and the Pegasos are all about as well. Its every bit as "Amiga" as the Amiga1. In fact if you like th eold Amiga apps we can run a lot more then OS4 can. But its not "real" AmigaOS, but the OS4 isnt made by any of the same people that 1.x to 3.x was so whats that say?

www.amigaworld.net for OS4 and A1 stuff
www.morphzone.org for Pegasos and MorphOS stuff

:D

By now you might have discovered why at least I think it's utterly meaningless, if not ridiculous, to talk about "new Amigas" today.

There will be no more Amiga hardware. AmigaOS4 and beyond is made for third party hardware. Today, nobody develops new hardware for AmigaOS, and nobody is planning to do so. Someone has to buy a licence to sell AmigaOS bundled with a 3rd party computer/motherboard, and only then will AmigaOS be allowed to be developed for and sold with that hardware.

Unfortunately, there still only exists one such licensee, who still only markets one product line with the licensee's "AmigaOne" trademark: That's Eyetech, selling Mai Logic's Teron series motherboards.

Or the real Amiga Community Po^H^H Website, amiga.org, for both of those options, and then some. :)
