Haven't seen it posted here, so...

as seen on amigaworld there's a nice video showing of OS4.

Not bad at all.

I wonder why 68k JIT is faster then WarpOS wrapper in this Voxelrace.

Downloading... can't wait for the next release!

EDIT: Seen it. Wow. I really wish I was a beta tester so I could play with all this stuff now!

Impressive, I hope we'll see more soon. Though I do wish it was paced abit slower and had an audio track explaining the features.
A nice demo none the less.

I've watched it a few times an to me it looks like it's a bit slower. At least when running 800x600. When running 320x240 it's hard to compare...

It isn't. It is almost exactly the same speed. You notice this  better in high resolutions, where the drawing effort for the frame is much higher than the time spend in the OS to double-buffer etc.

Check out that hugely responsive OS! It reminds me of - well, er - AmigaOS really! Can't wait to find out what if feels like like when it runs on the 'lowly' CSPPC. Lovely stuff.

Holy slow link!  What's this thing hosted on, a Commodore 64 on a 14.4 modem?  :-D

I sure hope it's worth the wait.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Download speed was pretty snappy when I picked it up last night. Server's probably a little congested at the moment :-)
