Getting networking running on UAE
« on: March 11, 2005, 02:13:19 PM »
Hi all,

Have been playing around with WinUAE recently, quite impressed with it to be honest. Two problems though...

1) Networking. I know that with something called BSDSockets emulation I can somehow pipe in the PCs networking into the emulation, so the Amiga treats it as if it itself has the network card. All i've been able to find regarding this is a greyed out check box in the configuaration to enable networking. What else do I need to do (on both sides) to get this up and running?

2) I've got all the Workbench disks at home (have an a4000, a1200, cd32) but have been having difficulties transferring these across to the PC. Does anyone have an ADF of the Extras disk so I can finish the installation (have all other disks working). I can prove I own these machines (perhaps look back at my previous postings?)

Any help greatly appreciated.
