please please please anyone help me with Genesis / XP

Please can anyone help me.

I need some simple step by step instructions for connecting my 4000 to WinXP box so that the miggy can share the cable modem.

I have tried for 2 weeks to connect using a Null-Modem cable as this is all i have, but now I am pulling my hair out...........and there wasnt much to begin with!!!!!!!!!

Specs: 4000d with basic os3.9 boing bag 2 install, Genesis and clean install of winxp on pc

Would`nt it be easier to connect through a router ?. I know there is the cost of the router to consider, But...

Try http://www.amigasamba.org/  they have a very good guide which includes serial connections. Also it took me weeks to get a serial network going and even then i didnt know how i did it
