Well, I have 2 a1200's that as far as I remember are both v1d4 boards...
the first one has got CBM chips, while the other has HP branded ones... I know that the HP m/b is from amigatech.
But since they are both the same version, is the other amigatech too?
Do they have any differences? I am looking for the most compatible m/b to use with the rbm zorroII busboard...

I'd use the one with HP chips as the Commodore ones might be worth something in the future.

Hi,

Be aware that all rev 1D4 or 2B motherboards may need the timing modifications, it mainly affects you if you have an Apollo accelerator card.

The branding of the chips, HP/CBM makes no difference, the revision of Budgie (Rev 01 or 02) does.

You may not need to modify anything.

Bye,

Ian
