Smart Fast Flash card 4mb for 1200
« on: January 14, 2005, 05:53:05 PM »
I've acquired a PCMCIA flash card from work out of a Cisco 1600 router. Its a SMART 4Mb Fast Flash card. When I insert it into my Amiga its recognised by Card prep but it says its Write protected when I try to prepare it. There are no switches on the card. Anyone any ideas if I can use this as a 4mb flash drive - do I need to unlock it with my laptop first as presumably its got Cisco config on it at the moment. HELP!

You might get it working wif CFD.LHA from Aminet.  AFAIK, flash doesn't work with the PrepCard utility.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
