EU Software patents to become law without vote

BBC News Online has an excellent article Be careful how you code about the introduction of software patents in the EU.  The Dutch Presidency is introducing them without a majority in the EU Parliament, without majority support from member states.

Balkenende must go.
Really, he must be the worst Dutch president of all time.
And I knew that before he was elected, and I did NOT vote for him.
