« on: December 19, 2004, 06:46:08 PM »
i read some rumors about this, and the rumor about the SHARKPPC from elbox only can work under DRAGON busboard (have the bus speed > compared with mediator models) any know or have any notice about this?

Becouse is very terrible if can`t work the futures SHARKPPC on mediator`s... and only on DRAGON`s busboards.

Thanks

I think someones having you on there.  If Elbox were going to make it
that they would just supply a PPC cpu module rather than a coldfire
one.

Are you suggesting that Elbox is going to sell a Coldfire turboboards with an option for an unknown PPC processor ??? That sounds like a Blizzard PPC 233/060 multiplied by X ?!  :-?

any know if is compatible with the blizzards ppcs? for execute the ppc soft under workbench 3.9 with the 68k disabled and running the coldfire on os 3.9? example: load the os 3.9 with the dragon and play quakewarpos on a window using my 603. Coldfire & PPC603 at the same time?

I think it is really good for the Amiga every time that there is a new initiative. The more the merrier.

I can't really see the business potential in a Dragon comparede to a PPC solution, but hopefully ELBOX has done their homework.

I use a Mediator in my A4000D and besides the trouble of putting the cards in the right order, and a "light" manual, it is a very good product.

Hopefully someone will start to make a resonalble priced PPC solution for all us witout PPC.
Booooiiiing!!!!

Well, the SharkPPC will come if OS4 is ready for Mediator Users. Maybe this card will also work in Dragon. There is already a mailing list for Dragon discussions if you want to join: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dragon-coldfire/
