Below is an ad for amiga 1200, bppc and g-rex.  what does he mean by motherboard doesnt like g-rex?

   - A1200 Power Tower w/ A1200 MoBo, Original Floppy
coverted for tower and 3.1 ROMS (internal PS to
   MoBo connector has been lost)
   - A1200 Phase5 PPC 603 w/ 060 and 32 megs. mem
   - G=Rex PCI Bus Board w/ 10/100 NIC & Voodoo 3
** I have Drivers and docs for all above listed items **
**All Items work perfectly, but Rev. of Motherboard**
   **does not like G-Rex.**

Possibly the GRex doesn't work on some revisions of the A1200 motherboard... I've not heard anything about that but I have heard things about it frying BlizzardPPC cards in big numbers.

Maybe he means revision of his BPPC doesn't like the G-Rex.  G-Rex doesn't work on Rev 0 BPPC cards (which most are) only with Rev 2.  AFAIK revision of A1200 motherboard is irrelevant.

OK so if I skip on the G-Rex, I have another question...

He said he made a mistake, it's an 040, so it's also not a 240MHZ PPC.  These run really hot don't they?  If I get one and plan to get a BVision, will that be an OK plan or are they just too hot?  I dont mind putting extra cooling on it.
