When I first got this I enjoyed the challenge of beating all the 1,000,000,000 Scores set by DSL. (well, 1.5 bil on mean machines & .5bil on night of the demon).

But now my name rules the scores, I score approximatley:

between 3bil and 10bil on mean machines
between 1.5bil and 3.5bil on pirate
between 1bil and 4bil on ace of space
between 1bil and 2.5bil on nightmare

I want to know what other people can score, so I have the new challenge of beating those scores too.

About 8 years ago me and my dad had been competing
on ace of space,
and one time I played, I seemed to be in a winning streak
because I reached 3.5 billion on the first ball.

Not only that, I had also gained several (or atleast 1) extra balls
and was playing one of the multiball games.

I had surpassed my dads highscore way back,
and guess what...
he turned off the power to my amiga!!!!!

(he is a terrible loser)

He must have thought that if I was allowed to continue
I would set the score too high for him to ever beat.
And I might have,
or I might have lost all the balls shortly after...
I will never know now.

As a comfort to myself, and a revenge,
I hacked into the highscore file and set one of my other scores
to 6.6 billion,
and backed it up by saying
"I would have gotten higher, so I was being nice to you".


My other highest scores:

mean machines:      3.4 billion.
Pirate:             0.8 billion.
Night of the demon: 1.7 billion.

There was a time when the highest score I got for all 4 tables was on ace of space, with 2.5 billion. Then normal order was restored when the Mean Machines table was kind to me.

Night of the Demon is still possibly my favourite though, even if through all my playing time I've only ever got 1 extra ball. I'm guessing you get one when you triumph against the Werewolf video game 6 times, but I've never done that.

Ah, now I've got 'Attack of the mega mutant meatball' music in my head!

On mean machines, the trick to getting such a high score is to keep hitting the lower left trap and collecting the prizes. I usually do this         ally whilst trying to git the overheat target. The lane saver (3rd prize) is mandatory for stopping the ball falling down the right hand side (happens with greatest ease of all the tables). Formula one race is my favorite video mode of all, and you get an extra ball for your troubles! I reakon I could score much higher on this table if my wrists diddn't seize up after about an hour!

I always get killed by that         wherewoolf on the 6th attempt, (well sometimes the 5th) I wonder if it's even posible to hammer the keys that fast?

On night of the demon you can get light the extra ball by:
40 Combos, then 120 (or something), and so on.
12 o'clock on the tower.
