What game is this?

Back in the day i used to have a game that when you started it up, it made you think the amiga had crashed and then blood would drip from the disk and the game would start. It was basically a text game, type in stuff and then the character would do stuff.

I vaguely remember an intro like that many years ago, but I can't recall the name of the game, I'm at work ATM so I can't look, I'll see what I can dig up tonight.

Was the game more of a text adventure or the early style graphic adventure with limited buttons/actions etc?

I'm stabbing the dark here regarding the game type
might help to narrow the search a little :-)

   Maybe "Severed Heads" ?

It was a text adventure, where you'd type go east, go west etc etc and there'd be a pic at the top of the screen to sorta set the scene and would change as you 'move' around the game. It wasn't severed heads unfortunately...

was the game one of those early horror text adventures... maybe DRACULA ?
