mediator1200 from first series + voodoo3

hi.
i have mediator 1200 (3200010) and have some strange trouble on voodoo3. I use MediatorUP3.6, and i know that first mediator series have some bugs, so: if  i try use any video mode, i have 'shit on screen' and  color bugs'. i use picasso96+last mediatorup or cgx3.0+voodoo_alpha_no-support driver. In any case i have strange 'shit' and color bugs.

I uses voodoo3 3000. Any acselerators (68060 or ppc603x200/040x25). Have one pci card (this voodoo3) and use this in pci4 slot.

So, maybe who know what is it ? suxx mediator device, or need special drivers/etc ?

Your running out of video memory.

My Mediator and Voodoo 3 does that when:-

Open more than 3 screen 1024*768*15 Bit

Or Have the TV running full screen on its on screen then Flick back to WB and open a window. the Window gets trashed.

I was going to playabout with the setting, but i cant be bothered as my A1 G4 will be here in about a fortnight. Could try putting the jumper down to 4MB window.

hi. i ####ed up more 2-3 days, and solved this problem by 'soldering iron' i just re-soldered all pci slots, all chips , and all elements on mediator. This a realy give good work, and now ,
i write this message after some hours good work.


p.s. i think first mediator series create in not good featuries. who know

You resoldered all of the PCI slots?  Wow....that took alot of guts... or alot of frusteration one.  Of course I've done things to my Amiga that others would probably laugh at as well.  Like making an extension ribbon cable for my Kickstart Rom tower (yes, I've got one of those)  so that I could install the AmiFast3000 Zip to Simm adapter.
