Amiga 3000T Pinouts - anyone have em?
« on: November 19, 2004, 10:46:53 PM »
Does anyone have the pin-outs for the A3000T motherboard PS connector? I have a couple connectors and I can just make a new PS from a 200 watt AT ps (and fit it into the 3000T ps case) but I don't want to fry the mobo trying!

I can find pinouts for every other Amiga, just not the 3000T.

I'll be your pal. :-D

I would also like to know what the pinouts are as well. Anyone have the service manual or schematics for the A3000T?  The cheapest power supply I've seen runs $65.00 at centsible software (ouch!).

I was gathering this together from a variety of sources years ago and it still happened to be laying on my desktop.  Please help me complete it and verify it is correct before using it.

I DO have the factory service manual also if I can be of any other help let me know.  BTW I have not cross checked this with the service manual yet (I have to find it :-)).  I will correct any mistakes if I find them.

I did hack this together with a PC AT supply about a year ago to test a motherboard I bought on eBay from KarmannSS (SP?). The motherboard was destroyed by a previous repair attempt when I got it so it didn't work.  However it didn't smoke anything!!

Thanks,
Jeff

I'd find that service manual handy. So would dozens of others. You'd be my hero if you scanned it in and convert it to a PDF (or forward the high-res scans JPG/TIF/etc and I can do the pdf part for everyone else if you're willing)  :-)

I'll find it alright :-). I just moved, so it might take me a little while so be patient. I'm going to storage to get my 060 A4000D tomorrow.  I can't stand it anymore.  I'll PM or post when I have the A3KT SM in my hand again.
