Amiga sound not working
« on: February 17, 2003, 07:24:13 PM »
I have some problems with my miggy. When I try to play a sound with prefs/sound or multiview, there is no sound at all. But, when i use play16, there is!
I find this very strange. Is play16 banging the hardware or is it something else?
Please give me some clues to what the problem might be. This might even solve my strange zorro-cards problem (they wont work, I've dabbled this here before and thought that maybe this sound problem was connected in anyway)

My setup: A4000 030/33MHz, 16Mb, os3.5. As vanilla as it gets.

I dont thnik it's a software problem, since i've had this problem for years (atleast three-four) and reinstalled a LOT of times.

Most likely a broken sound.datatype or datatype for the those samples.
