Creating .info files
« on: September 30, 2004, 11:08:09 AM »
Hi,
is there any way to create a .info file for an executable program file?
As an example: If I transfer a copy of an hd installed game from the PC to my Amiga the .info file for the executable is sometimes missing. That means that there are no icon for the program when I use the Amiga.
I've tried to use the IconEdit to create a .info file but then I get a message saying 'tooltype is missing'.

Anyone can help?

/Peter

You will have to change the icon type to "executable" in Icon-edit. There are several different Icon-types...

Hi

with DirOpus (all) is very easy.

Just select the executable then hit the button "Add Icon" (right ckick on "Icon Info" button)
