Another good day in AmigaLand
« on: September 14, 2004, 11:36:33 PM »
Went to my parents house to look through some stuff I have stored there and I
hit the jackpot. I found I had a working 1084s there, no more using my 500 on
the little 13" TV. I also found a all my manuals for hardware and software,
as well as a PC with some good memory chips to scavenge. I even found some
missing originals of several games and some old Aminet and Fred Fish CDs. I
felt like I was opening a treasure chest.

Every now and then something goes on eBay that fetches super
prices, lately I've noticed someone trying to sell Akira for 50 UKP.
Moonstone and a few others have also gotten high prices.

Seen how much the Blizzard 1230 cards go for, not to mention CD32
FMV/SX32 etc. I even saw a joyboard once!

I went into a 2nd hand videogames shop once and in the bargain bin was
a white Sega Saturn 3D pad.

Bought it for 12 UKP, sold it for 52 UKP.

:-D :-D :-D

I noticed someone won an A4000 on eBay once with Picasso-IV in it for
about 150 UKP, the card alone is worth that!

:-)

Hi, I recently sold a C64 tape copy of Artics  'Planet of death' game for £72 on e-bay and an Atari 800 tape bounty bob for about £40 -most games go for about £1 though - Strangely both went to Dutch gamers.

I once bought an Atari 800XL and 1050 disk drive on ebay for £30.  When it arrived they were brand new and in the original boxes, all mint, they even had the little packs of silica gel inside.  So I resold it on ebay for £200.

:-o Congrats!
I got also a 800XL with 1050 diskdrive, plus an Atari STE and all kinds of weird self-soldered genlock/midi stuff, I bought it all for E75, so probably this can be a jackpot so to say
heh, I also got a Mattel Intellivision for E5 on a flee market
