Bad Floppies
« on: September 06, 2004, 09:40:39 PM »
Anyone have problem with the floppies that came with Toaster 4000? I have recently decided to resurrect my Toaster, but a couple of the installation floppies are bad and no one seems to care about old systems. There is absolutely no support available. Any Advice?

I'd ask someone for a copy of the last Toaster 4000 CD that was produced. I'm pretty sure NewTek provided it free of charge to all licensed users. NewTek suggested that as an option the last time I talked to them. The folks at DiscreetFX might be able to help out as well.

I had the same problem with my original toaster floppies. The answer is to get yourself Video Toaster 4.3 upgrade on CD. It'll give you Toaster 3.1 and Lightwave 3.5 aswell as Toaster 4.2 and Lightwave 5 ! of coarse you'll need a CD Rom drive to install it.
Happy Toasting !  :-)
