A500/030/40 Piece out or sell complete system?

I have a very complete, very enhanced VXL30/Ram 32, A500/030/40 FPU/6882, 15 mb fast mem, 2mb graphic, "flicker free video" NTSC Hi Res, Sony 17" Trinitron Multiscan 220GS, Pioneer DR506S CD Rom, DF1 Phoenix, DF2 HD/XL, Supradrive 500XP, Zip 100, US Robitics Modem, DeskJet, Pagestream. Final Writer, Final Data, Final Calc, IBrowse, Miami Deluxe, Diskmaster, etc. etc.

This was the primary computer in my Advertisng Agency.  When my computers were upgraded to Macs, I took it home (I am in love with it) and set it up on a desk in a spare bedroom.  My wife, who has threatened divorce or murder if I don't remove it, has finally laid down the law, my Amiga or me. Out!

What do you think? Should I try to market the Complete package, or parcel it out?

I'd yank the 030 card and sell that separately; then dump the rest of the whole system.

Sell the VXL-30 and ram board together.
Sell the Chip ram upgrade separately as well

On a good day these items alone would net you I dunno, off the top of my head $200 on ebay, maybe more? Dunno how US prices compare to UK really.

Supradrive is worth selling separately.
The HD drives go for a bit. $30 maybe?

IBrowse and Miami Deluxe might fetch a few bucks.
 

But then that's hassle... You'd get less selling as a lot, unless someone really wants that particular system. Or you could always give it to adolescent :-)



edit: By the way, how do you get 15MB fast? 8MB on the VXL right? Is the rest in the trapdoor, or can the Supradrive take RAM as well?

You're correct.  The VXL holds 8mb of 32bit ram . . . and the Supradrive 8mb.

By the way, some of my pricing might be a bit optimistic, since stuff is probably rarer over here in the UK and goes for more on ebay, plus the British pound is strong against the dollar at the moment.

:-( Thats terrible. Nobody should ever be forcibly seperated from their Amiga(s).

Not to be rude, but your wife seems to kinda harsh! :-o
I mean, you don't demand that she throws her hobby equipment out, right?

As for the topic. Sell the expansions and the SW for themselves, and then the A500 itself cheaply.
