Starboard II and RAM: questions (beginner)
« on: August 10, 2004, 01:32:04 PM »
Anyone still familiar with the StarboardII clock/NVRamdisk?  I'm having trouble setting mine up (I just got it and an A1000 free).

I had the clock working for a while, and the system memory shows over 2MB so it seems to be at least partly functional.  I can't get the stickydisk or jdisk functionality working though.  I did the jdisk_install, and mount jd0:.  The mount seems to succeed because if I do it again it says it's already mounted, but info doesn't list it and I can't dir jd0:.  The stickydisk just doesn't seem to work at all, no luck getting an sd0: device.

Could the RAM: device be interfering?  RAM: seems to work but I can't quite figure out how to make best use of it.  Should I copy the workbench disk there during startup then

Assign sys: ram:
Assign c: ram:c
Assign s: ram:s
Etc...

I got similar to this from the startup-sequence.HD file.

Thanks a bunch for any help to get this working better.
