A3000 lives again!
« on: July 23, 2004, 01:20:02 AM »
My Amiga 3000 lives again!  Got 3 motherboards and the first one I tried worked (thanks Tim).  My 3.1 roms were OK so I got to use them, just need to put the Buster 11 in now .  I can ditch this pc now, well the kids will be happy to use it anyway ;-)  Next step samba so they can be on the net too!  Sorry to those that asked about buying the Cyberstorm, but I'll be keeping it now.

BTW I also got a 110volt American psu that is no use to me, 240volt here.  If anyone wants it make a offer, up to you to arrange to get $ to me though.

Very happy day!

Huzzah! It's always fun to get an Amiga working again.

Indeed!  Got one working rock stable, another seems a bit flakey but I'll have another go at it, the 3rd I have yet to test but if it goes it will be a nice wee 12Mb 030 and I have a nice 2Gb HDD and a 2x CD for her too!

One hath died, 2 are reborn!  :pint:
