Picasso II NTSC or PAL ?
« on: July 06, 2004, 09:36:53 AM »
Hi everyone,

Can a Picasso II or II+ be used in an NTSC Amiga?
My favorite TV shows:  Star Trek Voyager, Forever Knight, Stargate SG1, Married with Children, As Time Goes By, Mr. Bean, Smallville, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Xena

Its irrelevant whether its PAL or NTSC as Picasso does SVGA. You just need at least a Zorro slot to fit it in and a Monitor to connect it to.

If you're talking about general compatability then yes.
If you're talking about the native-video passtrough, then yes (although you need a monitor that supports native frequencies).

If he DID work for Commodore, surely he was in management.....  Actually, that would explain quite a lot, wouldn't it?  ;-)

The Picasso video board was not made by Commodore, so no I would not know.  Think before you talk crap!   :-x
