This Amiga function Beautifully and the Toaster as well. Be aware that the Clock Battery is beginning to leak and may need removing............it has not yet reached the motherboard nor damaged it. Also the front Bezel of the A4000 has to be held with tape. I have one that clips perectly if you want it, but it is extremely Yellow..........and thats why I placed this whiter looking front on it. Personally I prefer it like this, than Yellow. Once in a while they keyboard keys 1-9 need to be played around with because they suddeny stop working. This is a problem with the keyboard not the Amiga............but once they start working, they stay that way, unless you twist the keyboard or drop it. Over all the keyboard works good.

GET THAT BATTERY OUT...NOW! :-x

Hrmpf....:inquisitive:

Be aware......very aware.

Hahaha

It's really that simple?

I once had a battery in an A600 like that (in the trapdoor Pyramid 1 meg expansion), and thought about taking it out. My A600 that I have now has the BaseBoard 600 which uses the coin type battery.

Yes you can literally "rip out" the batter and solder a coin type in..

@leirbag28

YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE BATTERY ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had two 4000's that had very slightly leaking batts and they seemed fine, BUT the RTC circuitry was damaged!  Both worked fine BUT would not save/keep time.  I ended up repairing the 1, but have not had time to do the 2nd.  Of course I removed the batts as soon as I saw the leakage, but it was too late.  (I bought them from eBay.)
